Welcome to City Girl Homestead Living! I am Erin, the founder, and my path to this business combines my professional background as a former Respiratory Therapist and Special Education Paraprofessional with my personal journey as a mother to a special needs child.

When our family transitioned to homeschooling to provide the dedicated care our youngest children needed, we had a simple realization: everyday cleaning products are filled with toxic chemicals. Drawing on my medical knowledge of how environmental toxins impact respiratory health, I knew that conventional laundry detergents, fabric softeners, and dish soaps are notorious sources of synthetic fragrances and chemical irritants that trigger asthma and allergies. We dove into researching organic cleaning methods and developed our own safe, effective recipes to protect our home.

Homestead Living was born out of a desire to eliminate these household hazards and share vital, health-conscious alternatives with your family. We offer a full line of handcrafted, toxin-free cleaning supplies designed to keep your home pristine without compromising your health.
